Y Cilmeriaid Gather at Tafarn Llywelyn.

Getting the Beer in and meeting patriots they have not seen since the Eisteddfod or the last great reunion at the 'Black Pig' on St David's Day.

Gareth Westacott warms up 'Y Cilmeriaid' with some hot radical fiddling, Gareth fiddles at least once a week at the 'Black Pig' in Caerdydd.

HHHhhhmmm!!!! Well fellas what do you think of the show so far? No! it's not quite as it was, no passion, the 'Ethos of Cilmeri' seems to have died?

Dave Petersen, a real big time 'Tartan Taff' and one of the 'Knights of St David' takes charge of lining up 'The 18' and the ''Kilted up ''Balchder Boyos in the Band'' led by Adam Phillips. Who is the 'RED SHIRT' however? Another one of Cilmeri's ''Garibaldies?''

Me thinks it's ''Castrol'' and what's that he's holding behind his back?

Is it the ''Revolution Script?'' or a ''Movie Script'' perhaps?

At The Sacred Acre, the Cilmeri Cenotaph 9 - 12 - 2006.

The ''Kilted up Boys in the Cambrian Band'' and 'Y Cilmeriaid' gather before the Cenotaph but I see no sign of any 'Adfywiadwyr Gwlatgarol'. There's Adam however, but not quite the Adam we know from previous years at the Cilmeri Cenotaph.

Adam's going all ''Milky Bar Kid'', think I preferred him in the Black Beret and dark Glasses? No wonder he's in no rush to put too many Cilmeri 2006 photos up on the B.C. Web Site.

Can it get worse, you bet it can, just look at 'Tartan Taff Petersen 'KofStD' posing and posturing for the cameras (but whose Camera?)

Just when I thought the 40th Anniversary Rali Cilmeri was ''CRAP'' along came the Druids and why not, we can have too much of the Christianity with ''Rocks'' leading every one off to churches as Llanynys on the Saturday and Aberedw on the Sunday. There exists a Breton equivelant of Cofiwn and they usually have Druids opening their commemoration ceremonies, why not same at Cilmeri and indeed why not in particular at Dawn atop Penrallt, Macynlleth on 21 Mehefin - Midsummers day 'Dydd y Coroni'. After all patriots do not seem too inclined to get up at dawn to welcome the opening of the ''Cave of Heroes'', so why not call in the Druids to do the job?

There he is our little ''Christian Fundamentalist'' but what's ''Rocks'' carrying? another ''Message of Treachery''. I am seriously worried about this fella what with his 1st March 2006 ramble from St David's Cathedral to Sham Senedd. Is there a secret ''Christian Conspiracy'' afoot? Seriously patriots I am beginning to see ''Priests under the Bed'' well what is going on?

I mean there's 'Henry Cambria' with numerous papal representatives falling over them selves annually on the steps of the National Museum at conclusion of the Cambria St David's Day Parade, last year I was amazed to see the ''Pencoed Priest'' John Owen had come out of the cloisters.

Yes! Your better off staying in the Tafarn, but hang on looks as if things are going to improve?

The Celtic Cross and the White Eagle Cross flags, now that's more like it, some real 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol' on show at last, Cilmeri 40 warms up as the Flames of Freedom are lit around the Cenotaph.

Yes! Just like the ''Good Ole Days'' when we last witnessed a Torch Light gathering,which we have on film and hope to get on 'Your Tube' asap. Got to admit some fire makes an event look impressive, I like this photo so much I will publish again below in different styles:

Ap Sion: When those torches were lit, I thought I really was in Valhalla, but what would Toni Lewis the founder of the Cilmeri Gathering have said:

More than likly 'Not Enough Flags'. Never mind always next year but at Rali Cilmeri 41, 2007 hopefully we will see more 'Adfiwiadwyr Gwlatgarol' than 'Tartan Taffs' plus a load of 'Baneri Adfywiad Gwladgarol'. Oh yea! keep your Kilts for 'Dydd Dewi' where they seem to belong. Although please note I have no problems with Scots in Kilts or Cymry of Scots ancestry wearing Kilts but otherwise as presented by 'Cambria Tartan Commercialism', I find the whole idea ''NAFF''.

What ever? that was Rali Cilmeri 40, 2006. So what next, wait for the annual St David's Day Parade in Caerdydd or on with some 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol' ?
