CILMERI CENOTAPH 2009. An Annual Patriotic Platform Towards An Adfywiad Gwladgarol Cymru Newydd 2010 - 2011? Counting down!

As far as I am concerned, the annual Rali Cilmeri whilst having a purpose of rallying patriots to remember 1282, it's main purpose must of needs be a Patriotic Political Platform. This is why the Rally was founded by the Patriotic Front in 1965, and not least in short time becoming platform from which to speak out and promote campaigning against the English Crown's claim to hold Sovereignty over our Country, Communities and people. Over the years Rali Cilmeri has also been platform for other Patriotic causes too and that's OK!

However, In recent years fence sitters and fools have allowed Rali Cilmeri to be used for Devolution Dilletantism and Careerist Cronyism, leading Patriots away from radical nationalist struggle, to instead meander about with no great patriotic purpose . As example the annual Dydd Dewi parade in Caerdydd, if there is any great parading about to be done by 'Y Cilmeriaid' in particular it should be in Caernarfon and around Edward I's Castle protesting against any future Investiture III of an Englishman as Prince of Wales.

Thus having stated the obvious for the Politically challenged Patriot, I will move on to describe the scene setting for Cilmeri Commemoration 2009. See in photo below following Baneri Gwladgarol; Four Passive Lions of Llywelyn, Celtic Cross symbolizing Y Groes Naid, Eryr Adfywiad Gwladgarol, White Eagle Cross of Welsh Resistence and the Red Stag of the South and Grey Wolf of the North.

Setting the scene further; Small Red Ivy Crosses in memory of the Warriors of Wales who fought and died in the War of Independence 1282 - 83, only managed to do a few. More will be needed for future annual Cilmeri Commemorations particularly a great number by 2011 - 100th Anniversary of 1911 Investiture.

Notices making known the crucial locations and dates in the story of the last days in life of Llywelyn III in central Cymru over 10th, 11th and 12th December 1282. These were later taken away and placed at the noted locations to mark out a Cofia 1282 Brenhinol Cymru Medieval Heritage Trail, further information in my URDD BRENHINOL CYMRU blog.

Below the Patriotic Tribute Installation, remembering Patriots of our own times, many of whom over the years attended the annual Cilmeri Commemoration. Again only managed to do a few, more needed for future years, not least for 2011 - 45th Anniversary of 1969 Investiture and Rali Cilmeri'69.

The Cilmeri Commemoration 2009 - 10 - 11 Challenge, patriots were left a plastic sack of Wall paper at the Cilmeri Cenotaph with invite to take a roll of wall paper and participate in the Castles challenge. By making a Castle Wall hanging baner with written upon the message as illustrated. Then in years ahead see how many Castles can be draped with such baners, starting off with the pre 1282 Anglo - Norman Castles during 2010. Then in 2011 focus on the post 1282 Edwardian Castles with of course Caernarfon Castle being the 'mother of all castles' to take on.

Do note that there will be bronze medals for the Anglo - Norman castles, Silver for the Edwardian Castles and a Gold for Caernarfon Castle. Of course by medals, I mean Welsh Cakes wrapped in suitably coloured tin foil, might not seem much of a prize but the real prize is taking up the challenge and carrying it out successfully. Do photograph your success and send in for publication in my blogs, it may also be a good idea to set up a cork notice board at the Cilmeri Cenotaph for fotos to be pinned to in years ahead.

Other than that remember, the real radical patriotic challenge is for all those who attend the annual Rali Cilmeri and other patriots, to make a date with destiny and prepare at least once in their lives to make an Anti - Investiture Stand (or sit down) at the Gate of Caernarfon Castle. Particularly on or around 1st July 2011 - 100th Anniversary of 1911 Investiture and in 2014 - 45th Anniversary of 1969 Investiture. We used to say in the Patriotic Front; Agitate, Organise and Prepare Now! never mind Dydd Dewi Parading about in Caerdydd (Gee whizz that will really scare pants of the English Crown), get cracking thinking of moving in direction of Caernarfon to do something usefull for the patriotic cause rather than advancing political ambitions of 'Cambrianistas' and Cardiff Spring Tourism breaks.

PS: Why Adfywiad Cilmeri 2010 - 2011? Quite simply because, if we do not witness a great Patriotic Resurgence in these years, we never will. PPS: Someone asked me at this Rali Cilmeri 2009, why not establish Adfywiad Gwladgarol as a movement, two reasons why not, the one being I am getting too old for such start ups again, especially after all the effort I put into Cymdeithas Cyfamod, to see it fall apart so stupidly. The same with WRM I,II & III, where are all the so called ''Welsh Republicans'' now? dead, or dieing via alcahol abuse or done runners back into Plaid Cymru or CyIG, whatever? Sadly the ''Patriotic Fringe'' learns no lessons at all, and thus I am happy enough to blog an Adfywiad Gwaladgarol into existence perhaps? Secondly, why set something up, when Balchder Cymru is nearly there and just could turn out to be the 'Barrio Warriors' Wales needs and desperatly deserves.

However, they have some way to go yet but at least this year at the Gate of Caernarfon Castle they made a start along the road to being the future possible Adfywiadwyr Gwladgarol, hopefully? However, you will note that next year a number of my blogs will be coming down, including the Adfywiad Gwladgarol blog but before I do, I will post up a potential constitution for a might be MUDIAD ADFYWIAD GWLADGAROL CYMRU. Then if BC does not come up to scratch by 2011, any Radical Nationalist out there who wants to take on such heavy commitment of founding an MAGC, can go ahead and do so but do in first instance join BC and help them along the road to an Adfywiad Gwladgarol Newydd, maybe? Then just possibly Rali Cilmeri 2011 could really be a radical Adfywiad Cilmeri - Adfywiad Cymru Gathering? think about it and work and struggle towards it!
